Starting with a tricky rhythmic idea, the introduction features long sustained chords which accompany a viola solo (viola solo!!?) which then moves into a lilting rhythmic allegro, with the work ending in a subtle reference, homage even, to JS Bach himself!
Instrumentation: Strings, (optional piano).
