Work Overview
This is a fast-paced and joyful work. It features a metric modulation and change of rhythmic feel from Afro-Cuban 6/8 to fast salsa in a 2:3 clave. The harmonic structure utilises the Coltrane tri-tonic matrix and the octatonic scale.
