Work Overview

Piece for E. L. for piano solo, was written in 1981 for the 75th birthday celebrations of the composer Elizabeth Lutyens. Since Elizabeth Lutyens is, sadly, no longer with us, I offer this piece as a small tribute to this British composer, who pursued her own vision courageously and relentlessly; uncompromising, always an outsider.
