Work Overview
This piece received its first public performance at the 2016
annual Summer School of the European Shakuhachi Society, held in
Barcelona. It was initially composed for shakuhachi workshops
offered by the composer, for the benefit of private audiences
consisting only of workshop participants.
The score is written in the notation used by Kokusai Shakuahchi
Kenshukan, and is a variant of standard Kinko notation. The
calligraphy of the score was drawn by the Japanese artist Peroka
(SUGINO Hiroko).
