Pieces 2,3,7,8,12 were first performed as duet and solo arrangements for piano, violin and cello as part of the composer's cantata The Third Planet in an ASTRA Concert in 1995 in Melbourne, with John McCaughey as conductor. Piece 6 was first performed in a concert at the 2010 ISCM World Music Days in Sydney.
