Work Overview
A Semblance of a Whole is the third piece in a series of works developed while in residence at the Bio 21 Lab/School of Chemistry at the University of Melbourne. The first two were commissioned by Melbourne Fringe Festival for installation in Auction Rooms, consequently drawing their material from the molecular makeup of coffee and the sound environment there. Together, the three pieces form a single title taken from Lawrence Weiner; Bits & Pieces Put Together To Present A Semblance Of A Whole.
This piece takes its material from the previous two pieces and is for a trio of any three instruments.
