"Sfidare" Italian/Romanian for 'Defy/Defiance' or to 'challenge' and is written for when uncertain circumstances favour undesirable outcomes, and is a call to all that find themselves in such moments to challenge and defy that which may seem inevitable.

Joint winner of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony’s (CT,USA) Emerging Composer Competition “Pioneering New Works” | Semi-finalist in “The President’s Own United States Marine Band Call for Scores Competition”. | Original string quartet version won Zodiac Festival Composition Award (2018) and was a finalist for the New York Composers' Circle John Eaton Memorial Composition Competition.
