Work Overview
This short violin solo was composed in memory of Dorothy Kathleen Greenbaum (Brusey): 12 February 1929 - 13 November 2018.
Dearly loved wife of Geoff, mother of Penny, Jenny and Anne-Louise, Sarah-Kate and James. Stepmother of Jamie, Anne and Stuart. Grandmother of Ben, James, Tim, Lucy, Jim, Nick, Kate, Sarah-Louise, Tom, Georgie, Emily, Charlotte, Iyra, Ezra and Sacha, Megan, Oliver, Aksel and Hanna. Great grandmother of Emily, Olivia and Khalifa.
Fondly known as Doff, she was a keen horticulturalist and environmentalist. One of her favourite plants was a Gardenia shrub, given by a friend. It has very lovely, very scented white flowers.
