Instrumentation: Electric or amplified violin, percussion (2 sets of claves, 3 woodblocks, bunched bamboo chimes, whip, large bass drum with string snares), solo male dancer or male and female dancers.

In some cases, choreography refers to traditional Scots legend of 'The fiddler at the wedding'.
