Work Overview

This piece was written as a completion to Franz Schubert's Sonata in f-sharp minor, D571 and it is not to be played as a stand-alone work. The recapitulation is left empty in the original work, which is recreated here under the scope of the twenty-first century. Gestures, structures and motifs in the original work have been extrapolated to this piece, yet the expressive world of Schubert has been (or should be) maintained.
