Work Overview
Nursery rhymes and songs for children seem to have gone out of
fashion, which makes me sad. As a child much younger than my
sisters, I spent a great deal of time observing my pets and other
creatures living in our garden, and I was intrigued by stories
and songs about them. Or about fairies and other legendary
creatures, especially "The Green-Eyed Dragon", sung by
international baritone, John Charles Thomas with all the gusto
and imagination that made my eyes pop every time I heard it! So I
thought to make a song-story about my garden to tell my young
friends, and hope they find it as enchanting as I did.
It's especially fun if you pretend you're a dog or a cat, a
lizard or a butterfly as you listen to the songs.
