Work Overview
Nostalgia is written for Orchestra and consists of one movement. It reflects my life experiences and challenges whilst in Greece and later on in Australia. It is in ternary form and it's written in C Phrygian mode which is (C, D flat, E flat F, G, A flat, B flat, C), in other words we have the first four flats but note C is the central tone of the piece, to which the other tones are related. The time signature is 8/8 = (3/8+3/8+2/8) and the piece is played in moderato.
