Work Overview
"Archelogos" is a series of pieces for solo voice or instrument and recorded sounds. This series is based on recordings made during archeological diggings near the Pyrenees, mountains in the south of France.
In "Archelogos I", sounds gathered on excavations managed by the archeologist David Maso in Fenouillet Castle (Pyrenees Orientales) were organised in rhythms of dances. The voice reacts to these sounds and rhythms.
