Instrumentation: Piccolo, flute, oboe, clarinet in E flat, 3 clarinets in B flat, bass clarinet, contra-alto clarinet (optional), 2 alto saxophones, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, bassoon, 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, bass trombone, euphonium, tuba, timpani, percussion (2 players), leather ensemble (2 single-reed horns, large didj-style bowhorn, drum, Windform (optional)), extra leather horns for wind ensemble members (as many as possible).

The Chordwainers ensemble perform on playable leather sculptures.
May be performed by any 'out of tune' group of 'folk/ethnic' instruments with few adjustments.
