Work Overview
fire is in mine ears was composed as a showpiece for Ms. Sarah Curro's performance at the Volume series at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2011. It is in three movements, each separate creations in themselves, and which contribute to the piece in its full design. The piece should require a little under six minutes to perform. The titles are drawn from Much Ado about Nothing, Act III sc. i.
