Three Oft' set Songs is a setting of three separate
poems, the first by William Shakespeare (Merchant of Venice, Act
III sc. ii) and two sonnets by Edmund Spenser (XLIX and LXXXII
from Amoretti and Epithalamion).
Instrumentation: SATB choir (with piano for rehearsal purposes).
Duration: 5 min.
Difficulty: Medium — Difficulty may arise from pitching the more chromatic writing in songs 2 and 3
