"I wrote these four Fanfares after completing Symphonic Poem - A Celebration of the Natural World. I wanted to remind people of those human aspirations that seem to have been lost and no longer seem valued in the world we live in today".

A note from the composer: ‘As I get older, I become more disillusioned about humanity, particularly any lack of long term vision and the overall drive toward mediocrity, conformity and political correctness. I wrote these four Fanfares after completing ‘Symphonic Poem – A Celebration of the Natural World’. I wanted to remind people of those human aspirations that seem to have been lost and no longer seem valued in the world we live today’.
