"I wrote these four Fanfares after completing Symphonic Poem - A Celebration of the Natural World. I wanted to remind people of those human aspirations that seem to have been lost and no longer seem valued in the world we live in today".

Instrumentation: Piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in B flat, bass clarinet in B flat, 2 bassoons, 4 horns in F, 2 trumpets in C, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, strings.

Contents note: Hope and Optimism -- Honesty, Sincerity and Integrity -- Confidence, Exuberance and Open Mindedness -- Joy and Positivity.

A note from the composer: ‘As I get older, I become more disillusioned about humanity, particularly any lack of long term vision and the overall drive toward mediocrity, conformity and political correctness. I wrote these four Fanfares after completing ‘Symphonic Poem – A Celebration of the Natural World’. I wanted to remind people of those human aspirations that seem to have been lost and no longer seem valued in the world we live today’.
