Work Overview

The Mass setting, like Willan, makes use of chant-like melodies in the Choral movements (SATB Kyrie, Sanctus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei). The Gloria and Apostles' Creed have a congregational part with organ accompaniment and optional SATB parts.

Influenced by the chant-inspired style of Healey Willan in its use of chant-like melodies in the choral movements.

Winner of  2nd Prize - St Mary Magdalene 125th Anniversary International Composition Competition, Church of St Mary Magdalene, Toronto, Canada.
