Score [ePDF]
Clowning Around : [eScore] / Lorraine Milne.
Work Overview
The detached rhythm of Clowning Around and the
two-in-the-bar feel along with the use of chromaticism and the
odd dissonance, is a deliberate attempt to engender a feeling of
clowning or fooling around.
The Abridged version consists of the first 16 bars only - the
"main" theme. It can also be used by more advanced pianists for
sight-reading practice. The Full version is extended by an 11-bar
bridge before the repeat of the main theme.
