Work Overview

Going Round in Circles makes use of oscillating quaver patterns and repetitive motives giving it a "circular" kind of feel. In the Full version the Bridge (bars 17-24) puts the thematic material into the relative minor (Am) and connects the opening theme to its return at bar 25.

The Abridged version does not utilise the Bridge; rather it combines the opening and closing sections of the Full theme. It can also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading practice.
