Work Overview
Kaleidoscope consists of 3 short pieces for piano each inspired by different aspects of the shifting colours of a kaleidoscope. For example, in the second piece Slow Revolve, the inner voices revolve around subtly shifting harmonies.
These pieces are impressionistic in colour, employing whole tone scales, parallelism, etc.
