Work Overview
Sway-time has two contrasting themes. The first theme is 16 bars long and the second, 8 bars in length. In the Full version, they are organised into simple ternary form - A B A.
Sway-time is in waltz time with a feeling of one-in-the-bar to give a swaying effect. The Abridged version consists of the A section only. It can also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading practice.
