Work Overview
The Full version of Two Sides of the Same Coin is in two
sections. The first (bars 1-10) is contrapuntal in style with the
melody in the left hand and a simple counter-melody in the right
hand. The second section, homophonic in style, has the melody in
the right hand with a chordal accompaniment.
The Abridged version consists of the first contrapuntal section.
It can also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading
practice.
