Work Overview
This work was commissioned as a site specific work inspired by the austere architecture of the Benedictine Monstery in Vaals, designed by Dom. Hans van der Laan. The octet performed in the centre of the monastery courtyard in a circle aligned with the cardinal points of a compass indicating the alignment of the building with its natural surroundings and the rising and setting of the sun, moon and stars.
