Work Overview
At the time I was commissioned to write Ridgeway I had been hiking an ancient road that crossed my hometown. I moved away from this place when I was little and it was a big event to travel back and become reacquainted with the landscape of my childhood and my memory. The piece is a tribute to the journey going back to the point of ones origin in life. I think life is about searching for identity and place.
