Work Overview

First conceived as the longer piece Ahh Ficus Ficus, this work was re-organised as a shorter work for choreographer, Chrissie Parrott in 2003. It is a sample driven, improvisatory piece with a fairly predictable arch structure. The samples are all derived from field recordings of the black swans that live on lake Monger in Western Australia.
