This work exists as the second composition in the composer's cycle 'Kunstwerke', drawing dual inspiration from Wassily Kandinsky and from astronomy.

Instrumentation: Cello (preferably amplified), Chinese gong (low) (cellist strikes gong during performance. This may be replaced by tam-tam), tape (DAT or CD playback).
