This work comprises three short pieces, intended to evoke particular scenes: Lake Albert in South Australia at sunset, Centennial Park, Sydney at first light and Sydney Harbour at 2 am. The mood is quiet, even a little wistful, with a slight bluesy feel - well suited to the oboe.
