Work Overview
Approximately 66 million years ago, dinosaurs went about their frenetic lives oblivious to an impending disaster. A giant asteroid strike on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico resulted in immediate and widespread loss of life-but it was the worldwide climate disruption the collision caused which was ultimately responsible for bringing to an end the reign of the dinosaurs.
