Work Overview
The Overture Streetscape at Noon is an orchestral impression of a busy main street on perhaps a Saturday morning. Although no specific events are portrayed, hopefully the listener can visualise traffic jams, finding somewhere to park, a band playing somewhere, buskers in shop doorways etc. Then perhaps there are little places, possibly a small park where we rest for a while as we gaze up at the tall buildings, and a large crane dominating the skyline on a construction site.
