Work Overview
During my teaching at Abbotsleigh School, I was lucky to witness the development of the school's twelve voice choir, conducted by Mrs Seymour. After witnessing logistic problems before a great performance of a work for choir and harp, and still providing a change from a cappella, I decided on a less cumbersome instrument, one that the choirmistress played very well. Choice of texts was rather easy - there is no poetry which can achieve so much with so little. My effort achieved much less with much more.
