During recording of the Sydney Symphony 2002 Education Program, Paul Goodchild asked me to write something for a Brass Quintet as he was playing in one. I then decided few short pieces pieces were the ticket, instead of a long one. The name came from russian expression for something short and fleeting. Eventually delivered to Paul without result, so presuming he did not like them here they are.
