Work Overview
Quasi una Fantasia was composed between March 2008 and February 2011. Its dedication to the Polish composer Henryk Gorecki was added just after I became aware of his death in November 2010 - and is a heartfelt memorial to a composer whose music (especially the string quartets) has made a lasting impression on me.
