Integra : for string orchestra / Haydn Reeder.

Work Overview
As the title suggests, at a point within this work a process of integration begins. The composition is quite sectional with the two types of music, melodic and harmonic clearly differentiated. In addition, within each type of music also there are internal processes, namely, in a later melodic section, the solo line is invaded by heavy dissonant chords and the harmonic sections become looser and thereby lose some of their harmonic integrity. However the joining of the two types of music ends positively.
