A bebop-style small group jazz composition. Instrumentation is variable and not limited to the lead-sheets provided include parts in Eb, Bb and concert pitch.
Originally composed for a saxophone and drum duet
Although this composition can be played as a straight-ahead bebop piece, the inspiration behind the composition comes more from the work of Bernie McGann and John Pochée, particularly McGann's trio with Pochée and Lloyd Swanton.

Commission note: Composed for a duo project with the great Australian drummer John Pochée (1940-2022). The composition was later performed and recorded by the Andrew Robson Trio during the 'Songbook' sessions (unreleased).
