This is a long form composition that develops slowly. It features a reoccuring main melody that concludes differently each time. The inspiration for this piece comes from the story of Ernest Shackleton's ill-fated voyage to the Antarctic on the Endurance.
Instrumentation: Alto saxophone, pocket trumpet, double bass, drums.
