Seven Serious Pieces : for piano / Colin Spiers.

Library shelf no. 786.2/SPI 6 [Available for loan]

Work Overview

This group of seven pieces are naturally 'serious' in that they are all slow to moderate in tempo and somewhat introverted in tone (except for the fifth, which is a mocking parody of a tango). Each was written separately over several years (2000-2002) and later grouped upon revision (in 2005 and 2011) into the present collection.
