Work Overview

'Population Pressure' is a musical metaphor for a 'birth clock', a popular gimmick whose relentless digital count numbers each addition to our planet's human population. Like a law of physics the main theme remains unchanged. Sub-motifs grow out of each other and replicate leading to unending accumulation. The Coda suggests a possibility outcome of this process.
