This piece was performed by a ten-year old Malaysian boy at a univrsity function in Malaysia. His improvisations on the piece were quite outstanding, The piece itself has a head and three choruses of written out 'improvisations' but chord symbols are provided fr thse who wish to add real improvisations or embellishments.
A recording of the piece is available as a solo, with backing and backing alone.
The piece is set at grade 7 level in the ANZCA modern piano syllabus.
