Work Overview

The Autumn Sky takes its inspiration from a collection of Chinese yuèfǔ poems (樂府), written by an anonymous poet during the Southern Dynasties (approximately 420 to 589 AD). The music is a simple symphonic poem on the changing of the seasons, literally and metaphorically.
