Work Overview

THe title 'pneuma' = wind, 'phone' = sound (Greek) acknowledges the organ as essentially a wind instrument. It is also the name given to a soft-stopped register found on the organ but rarely used nowadays - similar to a dulciana stop with quintaton effects, ie. sounding the 12th above very faintly, together with the normal pitch.
