Work

The twilight of disquietude : from 'Veil of burning silence'

by Natalie Williams (2011)

Work Overview

This is part of a work in progress, setting of poetry by Australian writers, titled 'Veil of burning silence'.

Christopher Brennan's The Twilight of Disquietude links the dawn of a burning summer day with the passion and intensity of love's emotional fire. The turbulent feelings of love are an allegory for the real heat of nature's own fire; the burning of a hot summer sun.
