Work Overview

Hachures: parallel lines used on maps to indicate the degree of slope in hills (OED).

Points in time map out lines and spaces as they move, rotate, expand, contract. Moments of coincidence occur apparently at random. But these fleeting, isolated grains can mark a trend that gradually takes on shape and colour.

Hachures was conceived using the two guitars as a single instrument.
