Otturato - from the Italian for 'clogged.'
The circuits that link our mind and body are innumerable, defying comprehension. But what happens when a single impulse/reaction is isolated? Is the beauty and mystery of one such mechanism any less awe inspiring than the sum of these stimuli/response networks? The alternating microscopic and macroscopic perspectives articulated in otturato, rather than widening the gap between form and content, seek to find those zones of intersection where these concerns are of no more importance.
