2014 Australia Day honours: Brenton Broadstock and Patrick Thomas

The 2014 Australia Day honours list has recognised composer Brenton Broadstock and conductor Patrick Thomas MBE for their services to music. Brenton Broadstock was appointed Member (AM) of the Order of Australia for his significant service to music as a composer, educator and mentor, and Patrick Thomas was appointed AM for his significant service to music as a conductor and broadcaster.
Jazz drummer and band leader John Pochée was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to music as jazz musician.
