[IMPORTANT UPDATE - due to the Eurovision Song Contest being now organised in Rotterdam in May, it's likely that the dates announced for Classical:NEXT will change, and no travel or hotel arrangements should be made before the dates have been confirmed.]

Classical:NEXT 2020 industry event, to be organised on 13-16 May 2020 at De Doelen Concert Hall & Congress Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is now calling for proposals of live performances, conference sessions and project pitches. The deadline for applications is Friday 27 September 2019.

Artists, projects, future-oriented topics and interactive conference formats from all corners of the classical music world are welcome, whether early or contemporary, traditional or experimental. Proposals will be considered by an independent jury of international experts, taking into account an optimal balance of geographical and gender representation as well as themes, approaches and instrumentation.

An Australian delegation will again be supported by SOUNDS AUSTRALIA and the AMC at Classical:NEXT 2020. The registrations schedule is yet to be confirmed - stay tuned for instructions, later in the year, about how to register as part of the Australian stand and how to apply for the related Fellowship opportunities.

> Submitting a proposal is free - please see the Classical:NEXT website for details.
