A note on Finale
Image: Finale MakeMusic have recently announced the sunset for the much-loved notation software, Finale. You can read more about the announcement of the end of Finale and subsequent updates here, including onboarding information to help with the transitioning to Dorico Pro.
We understand that many AMC composers and represented artists have relied on Finale as their primary music notation software. We would like to assure AMC represented artists that the recent software announcement will not affect our services as we will continue to have access to the most recent version of Finale for the foreseeable future.
For represented artists seeking to lodge new works to the AMC collection, we strongly recommend submitting a PDF version of your final score. This will prevent any issues with accessibility of various file types and file formatting.
