ARIA Award for the Best Jazz Album to Jonathan Zwartz
Image: Jonathan Zwartz Double bassist & composer Jonathan Zwartz's album Animarum has been awarded an ARIA Award for the Best Jazz Album of the Year. The ARIA Awards ceremony will take place in Sydney on 28 November 2018, while recipients of Fine Arts, Artisan and Best Comedy categories were announced last week, together with nominees for the rest of the categories.
Zwartz's previous album The Remembering and Forgetting of the Air was a nominee in the same ARIA Award category in 2013.
