Australian Music on ABC Classic FM in April 2011

As autumn arrives in the Southern Hemisphere, we're bringing to you a range of concerts to accompany your busy schedule or as you curl up on the couch. Beginning the month with live broadcasts from the Adelaide International Cello Festival, you'll also be able to listen to concerts recorded at festivals held last year including the Canberra International Music Festival, the Huntington Estate Music Festival, the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival and a very 10th anniversary Speak Percussion concert which opened the MONA FOMA festival in Hobart, earlier this year.

In addition, a whole smorgasbord of Australian and world premieres awaits your ears, including pieces by Graeme Koehne, Elena Kats-Chernin and Ross Edwards.

You can also listen to and read about Australian music in our online archival recording collection classic/amp. Also check out an array of special web features, or subscribe to our weekly AMU podcast for new Australian music recordings and artist interviews direct to your computer.
