Hibernation Festival and the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall longlisted for Innovation Award

Damian Barbeler's hiberNATION Festival in Sydney and the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall by Chris Howlett and Adele Schonhardt have been longlisted for this year's Classical:NEXT Innovation Award.

Projects for this year's longlist were nominated by an international committee, with music writer, researcher Harriet Cunningham representing Australia. The next stages in the process are a shortlist, followed by a vote by the Classical:NEXT community.

The Classical:NEXT industry event itself has been postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic, currently scheduled to take place in Rotterdam on 27-30 September 2021.
